THE LASS O’GOWRIE

LONG KNOWN AS THE BASTION OF LIVE MUSIC IN NEWCASTLE, THE LASS PRIDES THEMSELVES ON GIVING LOCAL ARTISTS A SPACE TO PERFORM AND SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT.

Not just a pub but a local instutution. A place where all are welcome, forever supporting the community, forever supporting live music.

I wanted this work to show what The Lass O’Gowrie really is. It’s more than a pub. I wanted to show its identity, to show what it’s always been. To show that just because the owners have changed, the pub will still be The Lass.

The pub will still be supporting the community, local music, welcoming everyone.

And that’s the Lass.
