OFFBEAT MAGAZINE

DESTROYING THE MUNDANE. PHOTOGRAPHY IS IT’S MOST PURE FORM.

A publication and exhibition celebrating the beauty of photography. Offbeat refers to the themes and approaches of street, documentary, experimental, and analog photography.

Capturing the everyday, documenting the ordinary but doing it in a strikingly unconventional way.

The aim is to showcase, inspire, engage, and promote emerging photographers. Creating a platform for creativity and exposure. Offbeat was created solely for the community as an outlet of creative expression. Putting the spotlight on artists who do this for a passion, who are flying under the radar, and who are the real talents of the photographic community.

This visual identity has been created to reflect that. Creating a system to let the work of the artists shine. Keeping it pure black and white to allow this. Reflecting the unconventional sub-cultures that make up Offbeat — street, documentary, surf, skate, travel —  bold compositions, experimental layout design, and visual stimulation.
